Resumo
A Tecnologia de Informação (TI) criavasta expectativa no ambiente organizacional, proporcionando variada gama de estudos. A presente pesquisa tem o intuito de identificar os benefícios do uso e da aplicação da “Tecnologia da Informação” como ferramenta de auxílio administrativo, focalizando os diferentes tipos de departamentalizações, os quais são responsáveis por modificar profundamente a estrutura de uma empresa e a maneira de administrar os processos de negócios desta. Levando em consideração as afirmações feitas anteriormente, pressupõe-se que a “Tecnologia da Informação” há de possuir forte alinhamento estratégico com os objetivos organizacionais.
