Resumo
O objetivo deste artigo é descrever o item identificação e rastreabilidade de acordo com a Norma NBR ISO 9001:2008. Por meio de uma pesquisa bibliográfica procura-se relatar as práticas e conceitos de identificação e rastreabilidade e a sua importância. Foi realizado um estudo de caso em uma indústria metalúrgica, que aplica o sistema de identificação e rastreabilidade. Os resultados demonstram que mesmo com o Sistema de Gestão de Qualidade há várias falhas dentro do processo de fabricação, no item de identificação e rastreabilidade, como a falta de fiscalização e treinamento. Diante disso, pode-se concluir que o sistema da qualidade deve ter melhorias, uma vez que a melhoria contínua é parte integrante de um sistema de gestão.
