Resumo
Este artigo discute sobre os resíduos sólidos gerados pela construção civil, e seu potencial para reaproveitamento, por meio de técnicas de reciclagem ou reutilização. Os recursos empregados na construção civil geram inúmeros problemas ambientais quando produzidos em quantidades elevas e despejados em locais inapropriados, resultam em problemas para a população, indústrias, governo e meio ambiente. No estudo em desenvolvimento, pretende-se analisar o setor da construção civil, contextualizar sobre os tipos de resíduos que são gerados nos processos de construção, os produtos gerados a partir da reciclagem e da reutilização de desses resíduos e como isso pode ser benéfico em termos de sustentabilidade. A metodologia usada é a exploratória descritiva, ou seja, a partir da pesquisa bibliográfica e documental.
